Winnipeg’s Newcomer Sports Academy is Seeking Instructor

Winnipeg Newcomer Sports Academy is seeking an instructor for a 6-week program (Sept 9,16, Nov 25, Dec 2, 9, 16). The program would be from 11:00-12:00 pm located at the U of W Rec Plex/Canada Games Sport for Life Centre. The classes would consist of small group (less than 20) participants. Ages would likely vary between ages 5-12 for girls and 4-6 for boys.

Hourly wage $25 per hour. Instructor with Gymnastics Foundations or Level 1 Certification preferred however Gymnastics Foundations trained would be considered. Please send a resume to mga.kmiller@sportmanitoba.ca!

 

City of Winnipeg SPIN Program Seeking Recreational Gymnastics Coach

The City of Winnipeg SPIN (Sport Programs in Inner City Neighbourhoods) is seeking instructors for recreational gymnastics programs for children ages 6-14 at various community locations in Winnipeg starting in early July through to mid-August. Classes will run 1-2 times per week for 60-90 min periods of time. Instructor whom are Level 1 or Gymnastics Foundations Certified are preferred however Gymnastics Foundations trained coaches may apply. Wage is $25 per hour. Neepawa Gymnastics Club – Seeking Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Neepawa Gymnastics Club is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Recreational Gymnastics Coach for the September to March gymnastics season. Practices are on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights, coaching various ages and abilities. Wages will correspond with experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Need to Complete Respect in Sport Certification by September 2018
  • Willing to attend additional training sessions

Crescentwood Gymnastics Seeking Regional Program Coach:

Crescentwood Gymnastics is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic gymnastics coach for our Regional Stream Program Saturday afternoons and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from September to May (our gymnastics season).   • Previous coaching experience in Intermediate and Advanced

Keystone Kips Gymnastics – Seeking Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Keystone Kips Gymnastics is located in West St. Paul, Manitoba (on the perimeter between Main Street and McPhillips Street). We are looking for a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic gymnastics coach for our recreational programs running September – June. Our recreational programs start at age 3 and include varying levels of abilities. The position may include evenings starting at 5:00 p.m., as well as weekends. Wages will correspond with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Gymnastics Foundations trained with intention on becoming certified
  • Emergency First Aid and CPR C/AED certified or willingness to become certified
  • Respect in Sport certificate
  • Previous coaching experience would be an asset

The Seven Oaks School Division Active Program is Seeking an Instructor:

The SOSD Active Program is seeking an instructor to facilitate basic gymnastics programing at Victory School in May 2018. The commitment would be 1 hour, 2 days of the week for Grades 1-2 and 3-5 children. Rate of pay would be $25.00 per hour. Instructor must be Level 1 or Gymnastics Foundations Certified, have CPR C and First Aid as well as a recent Criminal Record Check complete. The City of Winnipeg is seeking an instructor for Kinder Gym (Age 3-4) and Gymnastics (Age 4-5) at St. James Civic Centre (2055 Ness Avenue). The session runs each Saturday April 7 – June 2nd from 10:00-2:15 pm. Instructor must be Level 1 or Gymnastics Foundations Certified, have CPR C and First Aid as well as a recent Criminal Record Check complete. Jordan’s Principle Group Seeking Instructor for Virden/Reston Area:

The Jordan’s Principle Group is seeling instructors for girls and boys recreational gymnastics (Ages 3-8). They are looking for a coach to come out to their community for 8 weeks to do a few instructional sessions in April of 2018. The classes would be 2 hours in length on a weeknight, 1 hour for children 3-5 and 1 hour for children 6-8. The rate of pay would be $25 per hour and 0.45 per KM. Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Council Seeking Instructors:

We are calling upon our gymnastics community. We believe gymnastics is a fundamental element in physical activity. So to increase physical activity in our communities and capacity we are looking to do foundation gymnastics clinics for the kids.  We have already had several communities reach out to Sport Manitoba for these types of clinics.

The community of Fairford has a strong interest in girls and boys recreational gymnastics (Ages 7-14). They are looking for a coach to come out to their community to do a few instructional sessions in February of 2018. The classes would be 2 hours in length on Saturdays from 3-5 pm.
